5-4 American shad mortality and restoration – the good, the bad and the unknown

This presentation will investigate the estimated total mortality rates for American shad in the Susquehanna River and then dissect those estimates into turbine, fishing and natural mortality.  This will then be interpreted in light of the 2 million adult American shad restoration goal and surplus production model results incorporating ocean mortality and striped bass predation.
