Summary of efforts to develop and expand markets of Great Lakes whitefish to Midwest consumers is provided. Presentation centers on developing value-added strategies, including product differentiation, based on product quality and community/cultural connections.  An innovative website, the formation of the “Legends of the Lake” Cooperative and the involvement of culinary professionals will be discussed.
