Lake Data for the Masses - Lakefinder Mobile

The Minnesota DNR Lakefinder has been a staple web resource for citizens for more than 10 years. In 2011, application accounted for nearly 20% of the agency's web visits- some 10.4 million page views. With mobile usage on the rise, the DNR chose Lakefinder as pilot mobile project to allow customers access to lake information anytime and anywhere. The presentation will discuss the service-oriented approach that was taken to implement the application, lessons learned and plans for future versions.
