In this presentation we will summarize and synthesize information presented in the symposium titled “Effects of Anthropogenic Chemicals on Chemosensation and Behavior in Fish: Organismal, Ecological, and Regulatory Concerns.”  We will discuss the variety of chemical classes that cause chemosensory and behavioral effects, the types of organismal and ecological responses they elicit, the ranges of concentrations at which those effects occur, whether water chemistry modifies those effects, and the regulatory implications of this knowledge.  Additionally, we will identify research needs and a path forward.
