Come and enjoy a scenic run along the beautiful Mississippi River in Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul. The park is within easy walking distance of the Crowne Plaza so no need to worry about buses or how to get there - just wake up, tie up your running shoes and head over to the park (Walk across Wabasha Bridge then west/upstream to just past the River Boats). Online pre-registrants must check in upon arrival in St. Paul at the Registration Booth. Last-minute registrants will be able to register at the Registration Booth until 5:00 PM on Monday, August 20. All online registrants will receive a race t-shirt; however, last minute-registrants will not be guaranteed a shirt. At the Registration booth, all participants will need to sign a waiver form, collect their race packet outlining details of the race, their shirt, and a map of how to get to the race site. The start line is approximately 1 mile from the Crowne Plaza so participants are encouraged to allow themselves enough time for their warm up walk or jog over to the start area. The 5-kilometer (3.1 mile) race will start at 7:00 AM. Healthy, runner-friendly snacks and beverages will be provided at the race site. In an effort to reduce waste, we encourage all runners to bring a water bottle. The top 3 finishers in both the male and female categories will receive valuable prizes (or at least an extra beer ticket).
