Edward Maillett , Division of Economics, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Falls Church, VA
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in conjunction with the U.S. Census Bureau, recently released the results of the National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife Associated Recreation that was administered in 2011.  This report will dig deeper into the data to specifically look at various socio-demographic characteristics of trout anglers and compare the findings to previous surveys  to  identify  the extent of change over time.  Among other things, this analysis will look at participation rates over time, demographic characteristics of participants over time, and expenditures.
