PIT Tag Technology - Reality Versus Wishes

The Bonneville Power Administration began funding investigations into the use of PIT tag technology in 1982. Over the years it has been adopted as a valuable research tool beyond the Columbia Basin. Improved capabilities and better performance have allowed development of innovative applications but still leaves users wanting more.
