Solving Difficult Fish Screening Issues

If installed and functioning correctly, fish screening protects salmonids from entrainment, injury or death at diversions, allowing for safe migration. Site conditions and social issues can complicate installing an appropriate fish screening system. Site specific issues encountered by the ODFW Fish Screening and Passage Program and how these issues were resolved will be discussed.
