Preliminary Findings of the Use of a Vertical Traveling Hydrolox Screen at the Tracy Fish Facility, Tracy, California

A vertically traveling Hydrolox screen was installed in the Tracy Fish Collection Facility in 2014. We began evaluating its' ability to divert entrained fish to the collection tanks while removing debris in 2015. Preliminary findings suggested some modification to the pattern of debris removal pegs was necessary. Early debris studies found that more debris was being bypassed to the fish holding tanks than predicted. Fish release studies are underway and will evaluate potential impingement.
