New Technologies to Deliver Aquatic Conservation Education Programs to Remote Audiences

Techological tools can provide valuable means of interesting and hooking new audiences on aquatic conservation. Using programs such as Salmon in the Classroom and the Pacific lamprey geocaching project, the authors in this presentation will talk about their use of tools such as geocaching, social media, video conferencing, and radio telemetry to deliver aquatic education programs to both in-person and remote audiences.
