Efficient fish marketing is a useful instrument for developing fishery industry and its sustainability. This study attempts to investigate fish market by using data collected from 90 fishermen and 39 middlemen.  The results indicated that fishermen share from consumer price is relatively low.  In addition, due to inefficient cooperative activity the marketing margin for fish market in west coast (Bandar Lenghe) is less than east coast (Bandar Abbas). Lack of market information, financial and infrastructural facilities were among important problems facing fishermen.  The study suggests formation of cooperatives and vertical integration to improve market performance, fish resources and coastal sustainability.
