Proper time management skills are key to being successful during every stage of your education and career. Poor time management can increase the anxiety that comes from the stress of class expectations, large research goals, publication deadlines, meeting schedules, or lingering projects. How you should prioritize your time can vary considerably across each stage of your education and into your career, and you must be prepared to adjust to changes in your schedule and priorities. Graduate school is one critical time that valuable time management skills can be developed and nurtured. We will present several tools and strategies as well as personal lessons and experiences that will assist you in maximizing the potential use of your time and lead you down a successful career path. Using the tips and strategies that are most pertinent to you will allow your time management skills to grow and help you to achieve success in graduate school and your future profession.
