When we think of leaders and leadership we think of historical figures that changed the course of history or individuals that have lead large socio-political movements capturing the hearts and minds of many people.  However, leaders and leadership can come in many different forms.  One doesn’t have to hold a position at the top of an organization to be an effective leader. Nor does leadership require the following of millions of people.  Natural resource leaders need only to equip and empower individuals and organizations to make a difference in their communities and across the landscape.
