Climate Change and Pacific Salmonids, Part 2

Climate change is predicted to alter riverine and ocean temperature patterns and have wide-ranging consequences for salmonids. The symposium will describe these expected changes and explore physiological responses to altered thermal regimes, the relationship of migration to temperature, and climatic drivers of life-history variation. We will scale up to consider community and landscape scale responses to a changing climate as well as cross-generational effects and the potential for adaptation to climate change. We conclude by discussing potential rangeshifts and management considerations of an uncertain climate.
