The commercial probiotics is also given to the freshwater fishes. Ponds with the mixed species such as Labeo rohita and Catla catla were given with probiotics. Growth parameters of the fishes were analyzed after the application of the probiotics in the ponds. Water quality parameters were also analyzed in the test ponds before and after implementation of the study. The dissolved oxygen (DO) in both the ponds after implementation of this probiotics have been checked and it was increased well and water quality has been improved. The growth of the fish in the test pond 2 (SPB) shown little bit high in terms of length and weight than the commercial probiotic (AH-BACT).
